class=\"mv-hhero__sub\">The terms on which Moovyrent hires mobility equipment to you in Tenerife. Please read them before you book.<\/p>\n  <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n<section class=\"mv-sec\">\n  <div class=\"mv-wrap\">\n    <div class=\"mv-legal\">\n\n      <h2>1. Who we are<\/h2>\n      <p>This service is provided by Moovy Rent (Miranda Tencad SL, tax ID B-38886008), Av. de los Chincanayros 37, Icod de los Vinos, 38434 Santa Cruz de Tenerife, contactable at hola@moovyrent.com and +34 686 069 948. By placing a booking you agree to these terms.<\/p>\n\n      <h2>2. Our service<\/h2>\n      <p>We hire out mobility equipment \u2014 including mobility scooters, wheelchairs, hospital beds and walking aids \u2014 and deliver and collect it within our service area, which is the whole island of Tenerife, including both island airports, Tenerife South (TFS) and Tenerife North (TFN). You may also collect the equipment from us in Icod de los Vinos and return it there.<\/p>\n\n      <h2>3. Booking and payment<\/h2>\n      <ul>\n        <li>Bookings are made through this website by selecting your equipment and hire dates.<\/li>\n        <li>Payment is taken online at the time of booking. All prices include IGIC (Canary Islands tax) at 7 %, delivery, collection and support; the total for your dates is shown before you pay.<\/li>\n        <li>Mobility scooters, powerchairs, hospital beds and patient hoists carry a refundable security deposit of \u20ac150 per item, paid online with the booking and refunded to the card used once the equipment has been collected and checked. Rollators, lightweight walkers and manual wheelchairs require no deposit, but a signed rental agreement and a copy of valid ID (passport or national ID card) are required for every hire.<\/li>\n        <li>A booking is confirmed once you receive our confirmation email.<\/li>\n      <\/ul>\n\n      <h2>4. Delivery and collection<\/h2>\n      <p>We deliver to the address you provide within our service area and agree a delivery window with you. We hand the equipment over, demonstrate its use where appropriate, and collect it at the end of the hire period from the place you chose when booking, which may be different from the delivery address. It is your responsibility to provide accurate accommodation and access details. Delivery and collection are free anywhere in Tenerife, and collection from our premises in Icod de los Vinos is also free; the only surcharge is \u20ac25 for each trip to either airport, Tenerife South (TFS) or Tenerife North (TFN): \u20ac25 for an airport delivery and another \u20ac25 for an airport collection.<\/p>\n\n      <h2>5. Use of the equipment<\/h2>\n      <ul>\n        <li>You agree to use the equipment safely, for its intended purpose, and in line with the handover instructions given at delivery.<\/li>\n        <li>You are responsible for the equipment during the hire period and should take reasonable care of it.<\/li>\n        <li>You must not modify the equipment or allow it to be repaired by anyone other than us.<\/li>\n        <li>Mobility scooters and powerchairs must be driven at walking pace on pavements and promenades, observing local rules.<\/li>\n      <\/ul>\n\n      <h2>6. Faults and support<\/h2>\n      <p>If equipment develops a fault through normal use, contact us and we will repair or replace it at no cost to you, as quickly as we can. Our support is available in English, German and Spanish during your hire.<\/p>\n\n      <h2>7. Loss or damage<\/h2>\n      <p>Fair wear and tear is expected and not charged for. You may be responsible for the cost of repair or replacement in the case of loss, theft or damage caused by misuse or negligence. Your liability for loss or damage is limited to the reasonable cost of repair or, at most, the replacement value of the equipment. Where a security deposit has been taken, it is applied first towards that cost and any balance is returned to you.<\/p>\n       <p><strong>Cleaning:<\/strong> cleaning and disinfecting the equipment between hires is included in the price. If it is returned in poor hygienic condition, we charge a cleaning fee of \u20ac30, which we may take from the deposit, where one was taken, or from the card registered for the booking.<\/p>\n\n      <h2>8. Changes and cancellations<\/h2>\n      <p>If your plans change, contact us as early as possible. Our cancellation policy is:<\/p>\n      <ul>\n        <li>More than 7 days before delivery: 100% refund.<\/li>\n        <li>7 days to 48 hours before delivery: 80% refund.<\/li>\n        <li>48 to 24 hours before delivery: 50% refund.<\/li>\n        <li>Less than 24 hours before delivery, or on the day: no refund.<\/li>\n      <\/ul>\n      <p><strong>Medical exception:<\/strong> if a cancellation is caused by an emergency hospital admission, a delayed medical discharge, or the death of the user, we refund 100% regardless of timing, no penalty applied. We may request a medical certificate or discharge letter to support this, but only where reasonably needed.<\/p>\n\n      <h2>9. Right of withdrawal<\/h2>\n      <p>As a consumer you have the right to withdraw from your booking within 14 calendar days of the day you made it, without giving any reason. To exercise it, tell us by email at reservas@moovyrent.com (or by post to the address in section 1) quoting your booking number; you may use the model form below, but you do not have to. We will refund every payment received from you within 14 days of receiving your notice, using the same payment method.<\/p>\n      <p>Because our hires start on a specific date that you choose, at the payment step we ask you to expressly request that the service begins on those dates. If you withdraw after the hire has started, you pay the proportional part of the service provided up to that moment. Once the 14-day period has passed, the cancellation policy in section 8 applies.<\/p>\n      <p><em>Model withdrawal form:<\/em> &ldquo;To Moovy Rent (Miranda Tencad SL), Av. de los Chincanayros 37, 38434 Icod de los Vinos, reservas@moovyrent.com: I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the hire of [equipment], booking no. [number], made on [date]. Name, address, date and signature (only if sent on paper).&rdquo;<\/p>\n\n      <h2>10. Liability<\/h2>\n      <p>We provide equipment that is safety-checked and maintained. To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to the total amount you paid for the hire. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Spanish law.<\/p>\n\n      <h2>11. Governing law and complaints<\/h2>\n      <p>These terms are governed by Spanish law, and any dispute is subject to the courts of the relevant jurisdiction in Spain.
