Cookies policy

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device to make it work, to remember your preferences, and to understand how the site is used. Some cookies are essential; others are only set with your consent.

The cookies we use

• Strictly necessary cookies: required for the site to function — for example, keeping your booking in the basket, processing a payment, or remembering your chosen language. These do not require consent.
• Payment cookies: on the booking and payment pages our payment provider, Stripe, sets its own cookies (__stripe_mid, __stripe_sid) to process the payment securely and prevent fraud.
• Statistics cookies (optional): Google Analytics cookies that help us understand how the site is used. They are only set if you accept them in the cookie notice.

We do not use advertising or social media cookies, and we do not track you across other websites. Only if you accept them, we also use Google Analytics statistics cookies to count visits and see which pages are useful. The cookies we set are these:

• wp_woocommerce_session_*, woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart — keep your booking in the basket while you complete it (session, up to 2 days).
• wp-wpml_current_language — remembers the language you chose (1 day).
• wordpress_test_cookie, wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_* — only if you log in to an account (session).
• __stripe_mid (1 year), __stripe_sid (30 minutes) — set by Stripe on the payment step for fraud prevention.
• mv_consent — remembers whether you accepted or rejected statistics cookies (6 months).
• _ga, _ga_FRKLH6QFTC — Google Analytics statistics cookies, only if you accept them: they tell visits and returning visitors apart without identifying you by name (up to 2 years).

Managing your cookies

The first time you visit, a notice asks whether you accept statistics cookies. They are only set if you choose “Accept statistics”. If you reject them, no statistics cookies are stored and Google Analytics only receives basic signals without cookies (for example, that a page was viewed), which do not identify you. You can change your choice at any time:

Cookie settings

You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings at any time, though the basket and payment steps will not work without the strictly necessary ones.

Third-party cookies

Two third parties set cookies on this site: our payment provider, Stripe, on the booking and payment pages, and Google (Google Ireland Limited) through Google Analytics, only if you accept statistics cookies. Each has its own privacy policy: Stripe and Google.
