1. Who we are

This service is provided by Moovy Rent (Miranda Tencad SL, tax ID B-38886008), Av. de los Chincanayros 37, Icod de los Vinos, 38434 Santa Cruz de Tenerife, contactable at hola@moovyrent.com and {{PHONE}}. By placing a booking you agree to these terms.

2. Our service

We hire out mobility equipment — including mobility scooters, wheelchairs, hospital beds and walking aids — and deliver and collect it within our service area in the south of Tenerife ({{SERVICE_AREA}}), including Tenerife South Airport.

3. Booking and payment

• Bookings are made through this website by selecting your equipment and hire dates.
• Payment is taken online at the time of booking. Prices include delivery, collection and support; the total for your dates is shown before you pay.
• Mobility scooters, powerchairs and hospital beds carry a refundable security deposit, taken as a card pre-authorisation (typically €150–€200) or as a small optional daily insurance instead. Rollators, lightweight walkers and manual wheelchairs require no deposit, but a signed rental agreement and a copy of valid ID (passport or national ID card) are required for every hire.
• A booking is confirmed once you receive our confirmation email.

4. Delivery and collection

We deliver to the address you provide within our service area and agree a delivery window with you. We hand the equipment over, demonstrate its use where appropriate, and collect it at the end of the hire period from the same location. It is your responsibility to provide accurate accommodation and access details. Delivery and collection are free across the resorts of the south; a flat €25 surcharge applies for delivery to or collection from Tenerife South Airport.

5. Use of the equipment

• You agree to use the equipment safely, for its intended purpose, and in line with the handover instructions given at delivery.
• You are responsible for the equipment during the hire period and should take reasonable care of it.
• You must not modify the equipment or allow it to be repaired by anyone other than us.
• Mobility scooters and powerchairs must be driven at walking pace on pavements and promenades, observing local rules.

6. Faults and support

If equipment develops a fault through normal use, contact us and we will repair or replace it at no cost to you, as quickly as we can. Our support is available in English, German and Spanish during your hire.

7. Loss or damage

Fair wear and tear is expected and not charged for. You may be responsible for the cost of repair or replacement in the case of loss, theft or damage caused by misuse or negligence. Full details of any liability limits will be set out in the final version of these terms.

8. Changes and cancellations

If your plans change, contact us as early as possible. Our cancellation policy is:

• More than 7 days before delivery: 100% refund.
• 7 days to 48 hours before delivery: 80% refund.
• 48 to 24 hours before delivery: 50% refund.
• Less than 24 hours before delivery, or on the day: no refund.

Medical exception: if a cancellation is caused by an emergency hospital admission, a delayed medical discharge, or the death of the user, we refund 100% regardless of timing, no penalty applied. We may request a medical certificate or discharge letter to support this, but only where reasonably needed.

9. Liability

We provide equipment that is safety-checked and maintained. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited as set out in the final version of these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Spanish law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law, and any dispute is subject to the courts of the relevant jurisdiction in Spain.
