Mobility scooter hireScooter, wheelchair and mobility aid hire in Playa de las Américas, delivered free to your hotel or apartment and collected at the end of your stay. No deposit, and support in English, German and Spanish.

Playa de las Américas is the busiest stretch of the south, and the good news for anyone with reduced mobility is that its heart is flat, paved and built around the seafront. The coastal promenade runs straight through it, linking Los Cristianos to the south with Costa Adeje to the north — roughly 9 kilometres of largely level walkway in total. On a mobility scooter you can do the whole thing at your own pace, stopping at the beaches, terraces and shopping streets along the way.
A quirk worth knowing: what everyone calls "Playa de las Américas" is split between two municipalities, Arona and Adeje, divided by the Barranco del Rey. It makes no difference for hiring — we deliver across both — but it does affect which beach services you will find, because each council runs its own.
On the Arona side, Playa del Camisón is a compact, sheltered beach with accessible facilities. On the Adeje side, Playas de Troya are officially listed as accessible, with accessible toilets, showers and changing rooms, reserved parking for blue badge holders, a ramped main entrance and boardwalks laid over the sand. Nearby, Playa de la Pinta sits protected by the breakwaters of Puerto Colón marina, so the water there is unusually calm — a useful detail if you or your companion is nervous about waves.
If you want to bathe with assistance, note that the most reliable service in the area is at Playa de las Vistas in Los Cristianos, a short distance along the promenade, which runs all year with fixed hours.
